Individual/Group Crisis
Individual/Group crisis counseling provides short-term, focused support for people experiencing trauma, acute stress, or sudden life disruptions. Unlike ongoing therapy, crisis counseling is designed to offer immediate assistance during highly stressful or overwhelming situations. It helps individuals or groups process the emotional impact of the event, stabilize intense feelings, and begin to reestablish a sense of safety and control. Sessions may take place one-on-one or in a group setting, where participants can share experiences, receive validation, and draw strength from collective support. Counselors use active listening, grounding techniques, and practical coping strategies to help people navigate shock, grief, or uncertainty. The primary goal is not long-term resolution, but rather short-term relief, stabilization, and empowerment. Crisis counseling creates a safe, supportive environment where individuals can express their emotions freely, regain clarity, and build resilience—serving as a bridge to ongoing care or personal recovery when needed.
